"Being alive for purpose"

We all want it, we all need it....that one thing we as a human culture seek. Purpose!
Believers and non-believers have this one thing in common the knowing that we exist for a greater purpose. "A goal yields a sense of achievement. Purpose makes you into something more." -Tony Robbins
Monday morning rolls around, my first instinct while waiting for my honey is to get the word of God into my heart. Hummm, bible app or Youtube?.
Thank you youtube for knowing me so well. Td Jakes begins with talking how Monday's can seem so routine. What is it that we fall into this thing called routine.
Aren't we called for a greater purpose? Aren't we?
As you all know I love to question the Lord, I love to get specific, I love to get details, I love to know the heart of my savior.
As believers we can quote scripture after scripture of how we have been called for greater. As non-believers this same gnawing tuggs at the heart. Whether someone believes in God or not, we tend to question our existence. We know we were created for something more than routine. I too have had profound moments asking God why am I alive?!. For me it's all I ask. Perhaps I am different, but ever since I was a child I wanted to know my purpose. I've always have had a sense of knowing that there is greater than what I what seeing. For some unquestionable reason this too has also been a source of my pain. To me knowing and believing that we are here for a greater purpose.
Mother Teresa has been an example for me as she went above and beyond to serve greatly. To serve in such a degree that one can only fathom beautifully such unconditional love. When asked why she did what she did, she said "We know only too well that what we are doing is nothing more than a drop in the ocean. But if the drop were not there, the ocean would be missing something."
How profound to think that in such a large body of water a mere drop would be missing. You would be missing!!!
Your presence here on earth is a purpose, you are a purpose to have been born to only do what you can do. God sets us a part, trains us, teaches us and puts us in places that we thought or think I did I get here.
To sum things up. Anthony Robbins has been one to focus on helping others. Although he is not religious he believes we all have a greater purpose to serve. He serves humanity by helping others to get past their beliefs. He has been great in achieving much success in my opinion because this is his calling.
What is your calling? what purpose are you here for? Or are you just here to sit in routine like TD Jakes says.
I know that for me sharing, inspiring and helping others by writing, speaking is part of my calling. I know that I was created to serve in ways that others aren't, my calling is different, special. Just as yours. Remember that you are important as that drop in a huge body of water.
But remember that you were chosen for such a time as this, to do only what YOU were called to do.
With much blessings, I pray for you. I pray for fullfillment within your purpose.
Much love,
Angie
