"Just when I thought there couldn't be more"

I sat back asking the Holy spirit, "Is there more??" as I watched an episode of a drug dealers history....I heard, "Yes there is more"

Heaven grace how could I possibly keep this up I thought. How much more can this man pour out as I thought of my own life and how much I still in fact had more of me to share. My baby cakes goes on to say so do you want to know?! Me, if you want to share. He continues to share his story. I had no words as usual but one sentence at the end. I kindly thought what the Lord had said a while back to me. "Don't tell me who you used to be, but tell me who you want to be"...

How often do we run across an individual that has had a grueling past? Yes we all occasionally run a cross a problem or two in our lives but to meet someone that their entire life has had multiple things happen is not often. I am one of those fine individuals, a fine breed I call myself. A survivor, a fighter, a person that keeps going. Just like Rocky!!! I would say I get hit and get right up. Over, and over, and over. I just don't give up. But to meet another person like this is not everyday. As a matter a fact very rare.

But what and how are these rare breeds of people such as myself able to carry on. And how do we rise up and keep going and how do we inspire others when we ourselves are down?! That I will tell you is a question and answer in itself.

"To be resilient you have to be strong in the Lord."

See when you get hit over and over something beautiful happens. We become resilient. We become unstoppable, but let me stop there, don't think that what we do is in our own strength no, no, no, we hit the floor hard and look up and pray hard. We take the demons that shake us and throw them out the window, we raise up our swords and become unstoppable forces in the spirit realm by not putting down our weapons of prayer. We will fast and pray and pray and fast and worship and pray.

We don't give up!

James 1:2-4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you are involved in various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. But you must let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.

But how and why would I bring in his story and share with you and what I have experienced?... Well simple because we all encounter troubles, but like the saying goes, when it rains it pours. How much can you learn from a person who has had a life of troubles and adversities. Because if you sit, if you listen, and watch the person move, if you pay close attention they will help you move to. Help you move through your troubles....

Pray without ceasing, worship out loud, dance and sing in times of trouble because soon it will all be in the past. Thank God for everything!!.

May you be blessed one day and meet a fine breed, watch and learn and enjoy life to the fullest!

Blessings,

Angie
